take our word for it, see it for yourself.
Yesterday’s class was tough for me because I had a lot
on my mind and I did not feel comfortable dancing one on
one under the gun. However, your special attention to
detail such as what I was doing wrong with my ronde paid
off. Today I practiced Kiwi, Melon, Azuquita, and
Tijeras with Marlene and I pulled them all off very well
with her. She was impressed. I felt a lot better about
last night’s class. The advise on cross body leads was
very helpful as well. Thanks again. See you next
week

Thank you Leo, Janette, and Madelyn for an awesome salsa
experience. I have tried a few other studios and none do
casino style with as much "corazon y passion" as you guys.
Your studio is a great place to meet new friends in a
comfortable atmosphere and your personal attention to each
student is the icing on the cake.
Muchas gracias, Michelle Drew
Thanks you
so much for performing at our firms Hispanic Heritage
Celebration Event!
The performance of
your Salsamania group gave our event that extra touch of
Latin flavor.
You are highly recommended
as professional individuals who follow your commitment to be
on time,
to entertain our large
group of 500 people and get a large group of them
enthusiastic and eager to learn the
steps.
I personally had a
great time, enjoyed learning new steps and are looking
forward to attend one of your classes with
few of my friendly
coworkers.
Once again in behalf of our
staff, we want to thank you for making our Hispanic Heritage
Event a big success!

Dear Leo,
As a Salvadoran-American, I grew up with salsa and
Latin music all my life, but never really learned how to
dance to it--until now. Since moving to Tampa from
Michigan two years ago, I visited many of its fine Latin
clubs, and remember seeing you and your group for the
first time and saying to myself--this is what I've been
looking for! Your unique style of teaching, not to
mention your enthusiasm, sparkle, and outgoing
personality, as well as that of your instructors and
students put my mind at ease, and made me feel right at
home right from the beginning. The small group
atmosphere and the "Rueda" concept makes learning that
much easier, being able to watch not only the
instructor, but watching everyone else in the group, and
learning to relate to each partner, and sharpen the
precision of each move. I have always considered myself
an outgoing person, but I always froze up when
approaching women to ask them to dance. Your classes
have given me a new confidence and self esteem which I
never had before, which have enabled me to make new
friends and to lose my fear. I look forward eagerly to
every class session, and to see all of my newfound
friends and "family" who will always be a special part
of my life, no matter where I go. The difference is day
and night, and the fun and laughter as you teach, and
your ability to relate to each student in a personal
way, are contagious. Thank you so much for giving me a
new appreciation for my heritage and values.

Leo and family;
I
have never taken any dance lessons, never danced Salsa,
and never really thought twice about starting class.
That is until I heard about Salsamania Studios through
James Leon-Rosas. James is so passionate about dancing
and especially how great the instructors are I could
hardly wait to take a class but was a little hesitant
because I tend to shy away from learning things in a
group type situation for fear of looking like a complete
idiot. But James and the girls at the office who had
already taken a few classes assured me that the
atmosphere and people are very fun and it's not
intimidating at all.....a month or so later I am in the
beginner level 3 class and count the days until the next
class. I can't even come up with words to describe the
excitement I feel on Tuesday's and Thursday's when I get
to go to class. I think you and the other instructors
not only know how to teach and teach well but you really
know how to make people feel like they are apart of
something very special and they belong. I want to say
thank you all for your hard work in trying to teach a
bunch of white people how to dance the Salsa and
actually look halfway decent doing it :)

Hi Leo!
I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful and fun class we had last night. It's nice to finally see all the steps we've learned come together in La Rueda. I couldn't see everyone's performance because I was focusing on your hand gestures the whole time ... but just the fact that everyone was keeping up looked awesome!! I can't wait to learn more moves.
I had such a good time that I didn't even realize that we went over our normal 1 hour class. So next week I'm going to pay you for the extra hour we had last night.
Again ... thanks so much!! Joey said he had a blast last night. I could tell he was frustrated at first, but I think once he heard the music everything made more sense. I'm really excited now!! (You should have seen Mirei last night. She was all hyped up with her salsa blasting while driving over the bridge.) I was practicing Adios this morning at the printer.
I'm sure my co-workers think I'm insane ... then again it doesn't take that much for people to realize that. Everyone just knows. Hee hee!!
